A special kind of glass glue on the market is silicone structure sealant, because it is directly used in the metal and glass structure of glass curtain wall or non-structural bonding assembly, so the quality requirements and product grade is the highest in glass glue, its market price is also the highest.

2. sticking to the time: silicone sealant curing process is from the surface to inner development, different characteristics of the silicone table dry time and curing time is different (details please refer to the fourth article of curing time of the technical parameters of content), so if you want to repair was carried out on the surface must be conducted before the glass glue dry table (acid gel, neutral cellophane tape shall generally be in 5 to 10 minutes, neutral mixed glue shall generally be in 30 minutes). 3.Curing time: The curing time of glass glue increases with the increase of adhesion thickness. For example, acetic silicone sealant with a thickness of 12mm May take 3-4 days to solidify, but the outer layer of 3mm has been solidified within about 24 hours. When bonded to glass, metal, or most wood, it has a 20 pound/inch peel strength after 72 hours at room temperature. If the place that USES glass glue is partly or completely closed, so, cure time is decided by airtight degree. In an absolutely sealed place, it is possible to remain uncured forever. If the temperature is raised, the glass glue will become soft. The gap between metal and metal bonding surface should not exceed 25mm. In all kinds of bonding occasions, including under closed conditions, the bonding effect should be thoroughly checked before the use of the bonded equipment. During the curing process, acid glass glue will produce a smell due to the evaporation of acetic acid, which will disappear in the curing process, and there will be no peculiar smell after curing.

4. Bonding:

A. Clean the metal and plastic surfaces completely, remove grease, and then apply sandpaper to the rubber surfaces except for the plastic surfaces, which are rinsed with acetone first, and then rubbed with acetone. When using acetone, please follow the cautions of using this solvent.

B. Apply the glass glue evenly to the surface of the ready object. If you are gluing two surfaces together, place one side in place first and then squeeze the other side with enough force to squeeze out air, but be careful not to squeeze out the glass glue.

C. The adhesive device was placed at room temperature and allowed to solidify.
