MF890 General Purpose Silicone Sealant


MF890 silicone sealant is a single-components, neutral silicone sealant, used for general glazing installation.Outstanding resistance to most chemicals,free primer for most building material.

    Range of USE:
    MF890 Silicone sealant designed for waterproof and weatherproof sealing for all kinds of windows and doors glass.
    As well as for non-porous building material.


    Package:
    Cartridge package: 300 ml / pc ,  25 pcs / carton.
    Sausage package: 592 ml / pc , 20 pcs / carton.

    Storage:
    12 months stored in cool(below 27℃), dry and ventilated places.

    NOTES

  • In case of contact with eyes, wash with plenty of water immediately.
  • Avoid long-term contacting with skins, placed carfully, avoid children touch.
  • Avoid contact food, medicine or cosmetics, etc

    • Restricted application:
    MF889 silicone sealant should avoid used in followed conditions:

  • Weatherproof and waterproof sealing for the joints of curtain wall.
  • In totally confined space (When curing process, the sealant need contact air)
  • Dirty surface.
  • The joint which suffering excessive friction and suffer mechanical destroyed.
  • Frosted or humid surface.
  • Immerged in water all the year round.

    • Method of application
    1. Surfaces where silicon shall be applied must be cleaned, dried and free of grease.
    2. Injecting the sealant by hand-operated or pneumatic caulking gun and fill the sealant in the joints. For better appearance, cover outside of the joint areas with masking tapes before application. Remove the masking tapes immediately after finishing.
